Awards event update

At the Club Awards event last week there were a few club nominated awards presented and for those who weren’t able to attend, here are the winners:

  • Hugh’s Cup – Jonathon Downey
  • Ferguson Trophy – Kevin & Gillian Mitchell
  • Athletes Athlete of the Year – Laura Haggarty
  • Volunteer of the Year – Stewart McAllister

We also took the opportunity to present Martin Brown and Lorna Baird with their awards from Ayrshire Harriers as their athletes of the year.

Trophies and medals were presented to many club members for their achievements in summer and winter club championships and congratulations to all of them.

We’ve also listed below athletes who were medallists at Scottish, British and World championship level through the past year. Although we try to publicise these successes when they happen it’s only when it’s pulled together in one list do you realise just how much success the club achieves and something for all athletes, coaches and volunteers to be proud of.
