Valley Dash 2025 Results

Congratulations to all 47 intrepid Harriers who took on the challenge of the Valley Dash. The conditions were almost perfect which might have been one of the factors that helped Lauren Carter to a well deserved victory, coming home in a race time of 42:26, just over 2 minutes ahead of nearest rival, Rhona O’Neill. Lauren improved on her 2024 time by around three and a half minutes which is testament to the work she has put in over the last year. This was particularly evident in how she was able to sashay up to the table to collect her trophy !! Rhona also had a great run taking around 2 and a half minutes off her previous time. Third place went to newby, Andrew Davie. Great effort Andrew .

Fastest woman on the night was Sasha I’Anson 29:31 and fastest man was Jonathon Downey in 23:22.

Not a bad result for the handicapper this year with 14 results within 30 seconds of their predicted time. Closest of all were Izzy Caufield and Callum Rennie who finished 1 second out. Although he didn’t get things too right for Alistair Craig, finishing 1st last year and 2nd last this !
